Septic tanks require regular maintenance to keep them functioning efficiently for long periods of time. Eventually your tank will need the contents removed when it nears or has reached its full holding capacity or fails to perform at its full capacity. We liken the maintenance of a septic tank to servicing your car. It is much wiser to check the oil before the motor seizes.

Tropical Waste sealed vacuum tankers collect the septic tank waste and transports it to our licensed sewage treatment plant for safe disposal. This process is strictly monitored by the Health Department and The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Tropical Waste Services is an approved EPA waste transporter, and we comply with set standards and regulations.

Domestic Grease Traps

Grease traps are designed to prevent fats, oils and grease from entering the sewer system or a septic tank. Excess food scraps and solids sink to the bottom of the grease trap. As a result, these traps need routine pumping out and thorough cleaning. Tropical Waste can schedule routine pumping, cleaning and maintenance of these traps.

Skip Bins

Skip bins are a practical and effective solution for handling waste from construction, demolition, or household and yard cleaning. Tropical Waste provides skip bins to accommodate significant volumes of waste materials like General Waste, C&D waste, soil, and green waste.

Portable Toilets

Our self-contained toilets are a convenient amenity for events, parties, weddings, building sites, army exercises, festivals and weekend meets. For weekends we deliver Friday and pick up Monday in all suburbs of Townsville including rural suburbs.

Delivery and placement are made easy with our combination of crane trucks, semi- trailer, and all terrain forklifts. Services are backed up with our fleet of vacuum tankers in all different sizes.
