Holding Tanks

Tropical Waste provides services to the construction industry with our holding tank service.

Tropical Waste sealed vacuum tankers collect the holding tank waste and transports it to licensed sewage treatment plant for safe disposal. This process is strictly monitored by the Health Department and The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Tropical Waste is an approved ERA waste transporter, and we comply with set standards and regulations.

Grease Traps

Commercial grease traps are used where there’s a high volume of fats, oils, and grease being produced in wastewater from cooking processes such as in restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, and hospitals. This stops the fats from blocking pipes and causing problems. Tropical Waste can schedule routine pumping, cleaning and maintenance of these traps.

Wash Bay Pits

Wash bay pits come in a variety of forms and sizes where vehicles or equipment can be washed or cleaned. These pits are often equipped with drainage systems to collect and contain the wash water, preventing it from contaminating the surrounding environment. Additionally, wash bay pits may include features like filtration systems to remove contaminants from the water before it is discharged or recycled.

Oily Water Separators and Pits

Portable Toilets

Our 300+ self-contained toilets are a convenient amenity for events, parties, weddings, building sites, army exercises, festivals and weekend meets. For weekends we deliver Friday and pick up Monday in all suburbs of Townsville including rural suburbs.

Delivery and placement are made easy with our combination of crane trucks, semi- trailer, and all terrain forklifts. Services are backed up with our fleet of vacuum tankers in all different sizes.
